The Cinico Cayman Islands National Insurance Company is owned by the government, and provides health insurance for residents who have difficulty obtaining it in traditional ways. This includes coverage for seniors, low-income residents, the health impaired, seafarers, veterans and civil servants. 

They offer Standard Health Insurance Contract (SHIC) plans to these individuals, and the plans available are the "Silver," for those 60 and over, the "Affordable," for those with a low family income and the "Challenger," for those recently rejected. Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for medical emergencies, and clients receive an identification card that is recognizable in the United States.
